How can my agency join?

  1. Contact Judy Milone, Assistant Director (212) 801-1350 to receive a membership package or download an Agency Membership Application pdf (120506 bytes).

  2. Submit the completed application with the following items:
    • Certificate of Incorporation
      By-laws
    • Description of programs
    • Current budget
    • Most recent audit
    • List of Board of Directors
    • State Tax Exempt form
    • Federal Tax Exempt form


  3. Once your completed application is received, an FPWA staff member will arrange to visit your site and meet with the executive director and Board chair.

  4. The agency application and site report is reviewed by FPWA’s Program Member Services Committee. The Committee then makes a recommendation to the full FPWA Board.

  5. A screening of agency Board members and senior staff is conducted through the Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control.

  6. Upon acceptance by the FPWA Board, the agency is welcomed to FPWA and a membership certificate is issued. At this time, annual dues are paid.

Membership fees - our annual membership fees are based on the size of an agency's budget, as follows:

  • Under $1 million: $250
  • $1 million to $2.5 million: $400
  • $2.5 million to $5 million: $600
  • Over $5 million: $900
