Youth Day 2008

The Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies (FPWA) is pleased to announce its 9th annual Youth Day, an exciting program that seeks to inspire, educate, and promote collaboration among youth-serving organizations, social service professionals, and young people.

Youth Day 2008 will be held on Tuesday, November 4, from 8:30am-4:00pm at FPWA. As always, the conference program will feature a thought-provoking youth panel, dynamic youth performances, and innovative workshops led by social service providers and the youth with whom they work.

This year’s theme is Making Dollars and Sense: Financial Literacy for Youth. Our program will help youth tackle money matters, understand the importance of managing their financial life, and discuss what measures may be taken to address financial challenges.

*We are currently accepting proposals from youth and youth-serving agency representatives interested in conducting interactive workshops about financial literacy. View Financial Literacy - Call for Presentations pdf (40798 bytes).
