Camp Scholarships

Summer camp gives children the opportunity to develop new skills and friendships. Camp is a positive learning experience, fostering self-esteem and self-confidence. Unfortunately, many families can not afford to provide their children with a summer camp experience.

FPWA offers children ages 5 to 14 partial scholarships to attend summer camp. All children must be referred through an FPWA member agency in good standing. Scholarships may be applied toward the fees for sleep away camps operated by our member agencies or camps for children with special needs and may also be applied toward the fees of any day camp with a permit to operate from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Scholarships may be used in conjunction with other scholarships and financial assistance offered directly by the camp.
