Youth Scholarships

A strong interest in assisting our scholars throughout their college years led FPWA to modify its scholarship program to offer continuing support to recent scholarship winners.

For the 2010-11 school year, FPWA is providing continuing scholarships to five scholars from member agencies – Henry Street Settlement, Inwood House, New York City Mission Society, Phipps Community Development Corporation – who attend the following colleges and universities: CUNY Lehman College, Manhattanville College, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and SUNY Albany, and New Paltz.

FPWA is supporting its current cohort of students through to graduation and is not accepting new applications for the Youth Scholarship Program at this time.

For more information on our Youth Scholarship program contact Angela Spruill, ph.(212)801-1323.

FPWA youth scholarships are supported by The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund.
