On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.), held their Board meeting at FPWA. This was a very special event as it marked the “1 billion dollar” donation mark for this international charity. As part of their celebration, K.I.D.S. provided a large donation of assorted children’s clothing, toys, books and other items to FPWA that will be distributed to member agencies. Executive Director, Jennifer Jones Austin, accepted the merchandise on behalf of FPWA.
In 2012, K.I.D.S. donated $ 297,636.00 worth of toys, books, clothing and household goods to FPWA.
