Strengthening Human Service Agencies

Pro Bono Legal Assistance

Review and assessment of legal issues and referral to low-cost or pro bono legal services is provided to member agencies. Recent examples of legal assistance provided pro bono include advice on personnel practices and specific personnel actions; negotiation of leases for program space; facilitation of mergers or formal relationships between organizations; intellectual property protections for materials developed by organizations.
