City Advocacy Day 2016

FPWA’s annual City Advocacy Day took place on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at City Hall. A press conference was followed by legislative meetings with New York City Council to advocate for four key fiscal year 2017 budget priorities:

• Investing $425,000 in the Interfaith Leadership Institute Initiative
• Enhancing the Worker Cooperative Business Development Initiative to $3.8 Million
• Enhancing the Day Laborer Workforce Initiative to $1.8 Million
• Enhancing the Access Health NYC Initiative to $5 Million
