New Director of Programs

FPWA is thrilled to announce that Aleciah Anthony, former Member Outreach Coordinator, has been appointed Director of Programs. Ms. Anthony joined FPWA in 2014, and has a played a critical role in deepening member engagement, building community relationships, and successfully launching FPWA’s Center for Leadership Development (CLD). Under her leadership, CLD has focused on capacity building with a social justice lens and has trained over 500 nonprofit leaders.

“I look forward to stepping into this new role, ensuring that nonprofits, faith-leaders, and community activists have the tools needed to support their communities, and to inspire a movement of social change that seeks to achieve economic, social, and racial justice.”

As Program Director, Ms. Anthony will focus on strengthening community and capacity, working closely with FPWA’s policy and program teams to influence systemic change, increase awareness, and engagement on policy issues.
