FPWA & New York Theological Seminary Announce the Faith & Justice Fellowship
FPWA offers 10 non-residential fellowships for advanced study in the area of Prophetic Witness and Public Advocacy. Applicants are expected to take seriously their call to be instruments of justice, proclaimers of truth, providers of hope, and keepers of the promise. Faith & Justice Fellows
This exciting new training initiative was created by FPWA, in partnership with the New York Theological Seminary, designed to uplift a new wave of faith-based leaders who will fight for a fair and just society. Those who successfully complete the fellowship with receive a special certification from New York Theological Seminary and graduate as an FPWA Faith & Justice Fellow.
The fellowship runs from September 2016 through August 2017, with an expectation of alumni engagement through December 2017. Applicants must be ordained clergy or lay persons professionally engaged in ministry in the New York City area. The deadline for Fall 2016 applications is July, 15, 2016.
