FPWA’s Policy Talk Series

Please join us in our Policy Talk Series with NYC appointed officials through the months of February to March. The Policy Talk Series is part of our Center for Leadership Development (CLD) at FPWA which aims to increase the capacity of community and faith based organizations by strengthening  leadership skills, organizational and program management, and civic engagement.

Meeting Format

Each meeting with the appointed official will last about 1.5 hours. For the first half hour, the appointed official will have an opportunity to reflect on his/her first year and share his/her priorities. The latter part of the meeting will be an opportunity for you to ask questions as well as share your recommendations for next year.

Attendance

The meetings are open to principals only of FPWA member agencies. The maximum number of attendees is 40 people. Additional names will be added to a wait list.

Sign-Up

  1. Review the list of meetings and identify the ones you would like to attend. Participation in a conference call to prepare is mandatory.
  2. RSVP for the meetings via each link below.
  3. You will receive a confirmation and conference call information. **Please be aware that dates and times may change**
  4. Information on location will be given on the conference call. Most meetings will be held in the City Hall area. Names are needed for security purposes at least one week before the meeting.
