All organizations regardless of their primary mission – legal services, foster care, elder care, mental health support, housing, addiction services, etc. – should strive to be both trauma-responsive and people-centered. FPWA offers a core set of foundational trainings, rooted in trauma-informed practices. These free foundational trainings are available year-to-year and open to FPWA member and non-member organizations. They are designed to be applicable to staff at all levels and in any type of role.
To aid in the implementation of a trauma-informed and people-centered approach to service delivery, organizational effectiveness, and civic engagement, FPWA offers several written resources. These FPWA-authored resources can help you and your organization effectively move from idea to action.
