Last year, FPWA was able to positively impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of low-income individuals. What could be better? With your gift, we can reach and assist even more people in need.

Your support helps FPWA mobilize on the ground efforts to expand healthcare access and enrollment for the most at-risk communities, spur on financial opportunity by increasing the number of worker’s cooperatives and the creation of higher wage jobs, and bolster the services and reach of Day Laborer Centers to provide nearly 10,000 day laborers in New York City with supports that ensure their safety and promote access to training. These and other initiatives are making a real and meaningful difference in the lives of New Yorkers struggling to get by. Together, we are creating countless stories of lives changed for the better.

Having FPWA in your corner at a critical moment can make all the difference. For many college students there comes a day when financial aid doesn’t go far enough, putting their dreams of graduation and their careers in jeopardy. Partnering with our member agencies, FPWA provides rising college juniors and seniors with much needed financial support. In the words of a recent FPWA college scholarship recipient:

As a champion of FPWA, people like you are important partners in fighting poverty from the ground up, strengthening services at the community level, and advocating for transformative poverty-reducing policies in the halls of power. And while the challenges are significant, we continue to make strides through the work of our programs, initiatives, and member agencies. Now nearly 100 years since our founding, we remain passionately committed to living out our mission of fulfilling the promise of opportunity in the lives of those we serve.
