2015 Program Grant Awards

On Thursday, April 10, FPWA presented $60,000 in program grant awards to three of its member agencies during a breakfast at the FPWA headquarters.

The three grants were awarded to programs that focus on targeted social services such as worker cooperatives for immigrants ; workforce readiness for at-risk adolescents; and computer literacy and digital productivity tools for those involved with the criminal justice system. The three award recipients include:

Each year, FPWA awards grants to support new service projects or significantly enhance existing social service programs that are linked to FPWA’s advocacy efforts and mission. The grants will be used from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 in New York City. FPWA releases an RFP to member agencies interested in applying. The next RFP will be released in December 2015.
