FPWA’s Youth Empowerment Movement (YEM) Spring 2017 Closing Ceremony

FPWA held the closing ceremony celebrating 27 teens from Brooklyn and Queens who recently completed its Youth Empowerment Movement (YEM) advocacy and leadership training program on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

“The world isn’t going to change by itself,” said YEM graduate Nia Nelson as she imparted wise words to her peers encouraging them to engage and speak up for justice for themselves and others in their communities.
