College Scholarship 2018

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, FPWA presented $28,000 in scholarships to promising New York college students at its annual College Scholarship Awards breakfast. A total of 14 undergraduate students were awarded a $2,000 scholarship to be applied towards his/her 2018-2019 fall and spring semester fees.

Scholarship recipients were juniors and seniors selected for their resilience and individual abilities to excel despite challenging life circumstances. They were nominated for the scholarship by eight member agencies: Cypress Hills LDC, DeWitt Reformed Church, Goddard Riverside Community Center, Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI), Henry Street Settlement, Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA), SCO Family of Services, and The Brotherhood/Sister Sol.
