FPWA hosts Faith & Justice Clergy & Faith Leaders Breakfast

On Tuesday, January 10, 2017, FPWA held its third annual Faith & Justice Clergy & Faith Leaders Breakfast, honoring two giants of the faith and justice movement – Rev. Dr. Raymond Rivera and Rev. Dr. John L. Scott, at the historic Riverside Church in Harlem. FPWA’s Director of Faith Based Initiatives Rev. Joel A. Gibson was also presented an award in recognition of his service in the faith community and upcoming retirement. The breakfast brought together 100 inter-faith leaders from across New York City to discuss how the faith community can stand as a united moral voice for the city during the political shifts set to take place at the state and national levels in the year ahead.
