(New York – September 14, 2017) Today FPWA celebrated its third cohort of Faith and Justice fellows, a fellowship program designed to enhance the skills of faith leaders in the areas of advocacy, faith-rooted organizing, prophetic witness, and social justice. This year’s cohort included 10 fellows from across the five boroughs and represented various faith sectors.
The Faith and Justice Fellowship, which was created in 2014 in collaboration with the New York Theological Seminary (NYTS), and has produced a core group of faith leaders who advocate for those most in need and who help transform New York City into a place of equal opportunity for all.
