FPWA’s Youth Empowerment Movement (YEM) Creates Pipeline of Future Leaders

At FPWA, we aim to build a pipeline of future leaders aware of the options available to them to advocate, not only for themselves, but speak out for justice for others.

We celebrated our inaugural class of nearly 20 Youth Empowerment Movement (YEM) participants and their recent six-week journey at a festive closing ceremony at the FPWA office on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Joining them was Council Member Mathieu Eugene, who provided $5,000 in funding to support YEM’s creation, and imparted words of wisdom and encouragement for their continued journey.
