New York, NY (April 5, 2022) – The National Action Network (NAN) will host a Women’s Empowerment & Networking Event at its Annual National Convention in New York City on Thursday, April 7th. This invite-only luncheon will recognize trailblazing women, including former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who continue to lead the fight for an equitable society that empowers female leadership across the nation. New York State Gov. Kathy Hochul and the Hon. Kristen Clarke, U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, will speak at the event.
The luncheon is a key part of the Annual National Convention, which will run from Wednesday, April 6th through Saturday, April 9th. NAN’s convention brings together national leaders in the civil rights movement, politics, religion, business, labor, the Black church, media, and advocacy community. These leaders will come together to recognize the sacrifice many have made in the name of social justice, as well as examine where we must move forward.
